"How Far Can You Get?"

Once there was a travelling man. This man wanted to go home to his family. He had a long drive ahead, but he was very sick; there was no way he could make it all the way home by himself. He called his father and told him he needed his help. He needed his father to bring him home. To this his father replied, "Okay. How far can you get?" Then the man tried his best to get home. He went as far as he could. then, when he could go no further, his father came and brought him home.

In this I believe we must be like the travelling man; for we all are on our journey through life. We all have ups and downs. We all get sick. When such sickness occurs, let us remember that we always have one who will be there for us to uplift us, to guide us, and to bring us home. He is our Father in Heaven, and he wants us to return to him, but we must do all that we can to reach him before he will take us the rest of the way. For "it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do."

Let us do so.
